Maintenance Minder
Honda Maintenance Minder

How to Read Your Honda Maintenance Minder
The Honda Maintenance Minder is made up of three parts:
1. Message
2. Maintenance Main Item
3. Maintenance Sub Item
Depending on what type of service your Honda needs, you may see one or all of these parts. The first part, the Message, refers to your Honda's remaining oil life. The second part, the Maintenance Main Item, refers to the primary service that needs to be performed. And the third part, the Maintenance Main Sub Item, refers to any additional services your Honda needs.
Say for example your Honda Civic display reads: SERVICE DUE SOON B125. According to the Honda Maintenance Minder charts (shown) here's what that code means.
SERVICE DUE SOONÂ - Your Honda has 15% oil life remaining and it's time to take your vehicle in for its regularly schedule maintenance
BÂ - During your service visit a Honda service tech will replace your Honda's engine oil and filter, in addition to inspecting various systems.
1Â - A Honda service tech will rotate your tires, and check their condition and pressure.
2Â - Your engine air filter and cabin air filter will be replaced with genuine OEM Honda filters, and the drive belt will be inspected.Â
5Â - Your Honda will receive an engine coolant fluid replacement, to ensure it continues to run cool.
And that's it! Just match the code to the message and you'll know what to do. If you have any questions about the code your Honda shows, just let us know. Stop by our Honda dealership or give us a call today -Â 650-830-5800.
